Packaging

contextThis is a quick look at packaging for the book it is important to get the presentation right suiting the context book is less is more.

This is more of a mailed book for a book. looks like it has too many folds.

This is a quicky design its different from other packaging I have seen.

Group Crit

contFrom the crit I realized I have a lot to do and fix . I had very good feed back about my block and how organised it is but there also a few issues that need to be fix.

1. The title of the book. Re think about the name should it be a long line of is less is more, or being really bold with the words.

2. Pages look too the same and is boring half way through. Makes it more interesting using different layouts even colour.

3.Compare other design which is really layered basically what is not simple design.

4. Needs to be analytical.

Over all a productive crit but need to look at how to make a lot more interesting . Trying to mix it up with more play with layout. Maybe having larger quotes as making them more important and title need improving.

Colour

I thought I might just test some more colours for the book rather than the green. The green looks good but I am worried it might be too hard to read.

I want it bright and fun but not boring.

This is a stunning red really stand out but still simple in design.

Even the thought the typography is just this deep it still works really well.

The questions bounce off this page.

This is a fantastic blue really bright and draws you in.

The typography looks good also but it say simple.

I think I prefer the green it has a good link of bright and sultel design and colour.

Improvement

I nade an improvement from taking out the lines from the book and using small information as like a line looks a lot better but this is a half done book. Still got a lot to do with it. At the beginning of the book I have put an introduction page and have started a biblography.

Rethink Layout

Having the information down the side does make it a lot more interesting but does it suit the context in this book?

Having it all at the top like a line really makes improves it from the two lines. The spaces balances out effectively.

Having it dotted around in the corners is not easy on the eye.

Having it at the bottom might I don't think it works.

Again having the number pages looks slightly left out.

Again it still looks dotted and prefer having it on a long line.

I thought of maybe the green might be too hard to read. making it the same colour as the written answers.

Having it all grey at the top makes it stand out too much and should concentrate on the quotes.

The info works at the to works just as well with the other pages And think out of all of my test this works the most.

Bizerte Book

I am now also looking at packaging for now book and presented in a professional manner.

The wooden box really makes it individual and fits with the chunky typography . The white print and wooden texture also give it depth and also has a fresh and minimalistic look. Because of the wood makes it fell organic but with a clash of modern bulky typography.

The way it is constructed together as a packaging is like an opening a cracker.
