I am now looking at how I would use actual objects of being typography.

Really like how the petills make it as a typography and yellow stands out from the white background. But what does daisy flowers to do with love.

These are a fantastic use of decorative typography also layed out in a style of wirls and thinkness.

I have cahnged my plan for the rvise brief I am going to make it as decreative typography rather than just plain boring design which didn't work at all for the breif that I was doing.

But the problem if I am doing it was decorative typography should I do it as luke has done on illustrator or as actual objects like for instances one of my quotes:

How can you delay milk turning sour? Keep it in a cow so I could use milk into typography by photographing it.

His typography looks really glossed and also very easy to read. The four shades of colours makes it more interesting to read and doesn't over load. But this is a good example what I do with milk typography.

Mkaing typography with tongues is odd but also really works with the siliaver on the tongues dripping off.

See this subject is about drinking so the typography is design to look like water.

This is a brilliant typography looks like bubbles or balloons about to pop. It is made to look by making the it round shape and putting the white curves.

I think this might look nice but really hard to read.

I love Dust

This is a fantastic piece of research for my answers brief being fun, bright and playful. As the last work I for this brief it was too serious needs to attract the school pupils.



The black background makes the colours stand out more rather than white. The different mixture of style of typography fits well with each word. It really does remind of the the Las Vegas lights.



This has stunning texture with the use of organic and nature colours. The design is decorative but the typography is not decorative it looks like if it was letter pressed.



This has brilliant B movie effect of the 50's really give that cheesy horror style movie.



This has a fantastic vintage modern element using photography and 2d image.



It's not hard to read and the effect looks brilliant but I think it doesn't really work what its saying.

Brilliant cartoon comic effect but very squeaky clean and modern other than the style of being old with comic books.

I like the fact that the style o design clean, organised and minimal.



The lines make the poster stand out with the dates and information layout in the background.







This could be a great research and concept to look at organised files that schools folders and bright colours.

Middle School Program

The sketched illustration relate to the school answers and reads from level than a mature level using chalk boards as a school subject I need to research what year 11's do now in schools what so different today.

This is very like a school book bounded with the heart shape at the front and the recycled card.





The pink and brown card makes it works in contrast and left spaced lined to write on.

The book quotes i produced was way too dull, So I found this design by League which I find fun, creative and child like which I should be looking for for the brief rather making it too serious.

This is a to similar to my answers Brief but this looks a lot better and consistent.

I need to make more interesting rather than just typography this style is too dry for year 11's. GCSE's.

Layout and Typography

The red background makes the typography stand out more with white. Also an interesting title of a book cover.

The inside cover is inverted inside. this could be a interesting idea I should use for my booklet. This again has random stand out title like the daft answer to the exam questions.

This is simple layout but what stands out for is the side quotes which would be usefull for my design context book and revise book.

These are the styles and stock paper I am at for my booklet school answers. Making it fun and quirky fits with the quirky answers.

The full stock makes more interesting and makes it stand out more with the bright bold stock.

Having a typography in the centre looks simple but should be used with a purpose.

Quirky

The book, called "someone", holds the lyrics of Antony and the Johnsons' "Hope there's someone". One Line and a picture of a cat make a spread. If a strophe is finished, it's marked by 2 symbols.



The packaging I like because it's see through so you can see whats inside.Makes it a lot more interesting.






The image and typography separate makes it look simple in design and more unique.




The Poster is made out of 4 parts: from A6 to A3 sized papers. Cats are shown on the front, but if you fold each paper in half you can read: "Hope there's someone who'll take care of me when I die.

This research is for the clocks lyric brief but also the primary school brief of how it is original presented in the booklet.

Illustrated 8 lyrics and presented them in a booklet that came in 3 different colours.



The colours work really well in contrast and and colours and also theme of lyrics. Very simple and made into a booklet.Simple and stunning design.

Really simple clean cut design, I'm not into big layout work but I am into very simple of information.Looks easy to read and simple booklet which is cheap and productive booklet. The stock makes it work better with its original ideas. This might be a good research looking for portfolio design for my work.
